Aligners can be cleaned by running them under tap water and brushing with a plain toothbrush as needed. You shouldn't use any toothpaste. Malocclusion is a case of teeth misalignment. It is when your upper and lower teeth do not properly meet, resulting in an improper bite. This can cause your teeth to be crooked or crowded. There are various cases of malocclusion. Clear aligners are used to treat minor to moderate cases and some severe ones as well. Following are the reasons why you may need to get clear aligners:
  • Overbite: When your upper front teeth are in front of your lower teeth.
  • Underbite: When your lower front teeth protrude past your upper front teeth.
  • Openbite: When your upper and lower teeth are positioned farther than each other. This results in them not meeting when the mouth closes.
